A moins d'une heure de la fin de l'ultimatum lancé par l'armée au Président islamiste Morsi, la situation est de plus en plus tendue en Egypte.

L'armée contrôle le bâtiment de la télévision et devrait faire prochainement une déclaration.

Des milliers de manifestants se sont massés sur la Place Tahrir et scandent "Morsi Dégage!" ou "L'armée et le peuple, unis!".

Le Président Morsi ainsi que plusieurs autres responsables islamistes seraient actuellement assignés à résidence.

Reste à savoir maintenant si les egyptiens peuvent réellement faire confiance à l'armée ?
En Egypte, l'armée est aussi une sorte de trust économique contrôlant énormément d'entreprises du pays, donc une partie du problème dans une situation où la principale revendication des egyptiens est le pain.
Si les torts du Président Morsi sont évidents, la gestion du pays par l'armée dans la période de transition avait été aussi désastreuse. On peut également reprocher à l'armée d'avoir été fréquemment alignée sur Washington (tout comme les Frères musulmans).
